Dee Hoffer, 79, of Aberdeen died Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen. A family prayer service was held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens prior to her burial.
Diane Lee Kilber was born in Bowdle, SD on November 12, 1942, to Leah (Ellwein) and Edwin Kilber. She lost her biological father at a very young age, moved to Aberdeen, and was raised by her mother and step-father, Roy Wilber.
Dee married Wes Pulling in 1962. Out of this union, she was blessed with three children, Tammy, Mark, and Chad. She married Lou Hoffer in 1985.
Dee enjoyed visits from her children and grandchildren, and spending time with her friends, who were an important part of her life. She was also an avid reader, dog lover and long-time garage sale fanatic.
Grateful for having shared Dee’s life are her daughter, Tammy (Greg) Huss of Alexandria, MN, Mark (Leanne) Pulling of Sioux Falls, and Chad (Jaime) Pulling of Whitewood; grandchildren: Michael (Cami) Huss, Nathan Huss, Leah (Donald) Johnsrud, Noah Huss, Nicholas Huss, Ashley Pulling, David Pulling, Emily Pulling, Zachary Pulling, Desirae Pulling, Alex Pulling, Peter Pulling, and Paul Pulling; and 3 great-grandchildren: Peregrine, Lucia, and Raymond Huss.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lou; and many special friends.
